71 Trail

An approximately 5-mile long path on both sides of SH 71 from US 183 to SH 130.

The 71 Trail is a paved, 10-foot-wide, dedicated bicycle and pedestrian path that offers a safe commuting route along SH 71. The trail connects to 183 Trail via Old Bastrop Highway on the northern section, providing routes into downtown Austin from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, and provides connections for a future network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

Accessing the Trail

There is no dedicated trailhead for 71 Trail. Connections can be made from neighboring communities, businesses, and the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
