The Mobility Authority is working to create a modern regional transportation network for Central Texas. Our current and future projects are key elements in a carefully planned, multi-modal transportation system designed to meet the diverse mobility needs of our fast-growing region.

MoPac Improvement Project
Building Express lanes between Cesar Chavez and Parmer Lane to manage congestion and improve reliability.

A 3.9 mile toll road to improve traffic flow
along the SH 71 corridor between the airport and SH 130.



290/130 Intersection Improvements
Providing a safe and efficient link from SH 130 to 290 Toll.


Improving safety and mobility for southern Travis County by connecting MoPac to FM 1626.


MoPac South
Studying options for managing congestion and improving mobility on south MoPac between Cesar Chavez and Slaughter Lane.

Oak Hill Parkway

Oak Hill Parkway
Studying options to improve long-term mobility at the bottleneck on US 290 and SH 71, or the “Y” at Oak Hill.


183 North Mobility Project
Studying mobility improvements on US183 between SH 45 and MoPac.
