183AThe 183A project has significantly improved travel times and reduced traffic on adjacent roadways including US 183. You can view detailed information regarding traffic volumes and travel times by clicking here. In June 2009, the Mobility Authority commissioned an emissions study to evaluate fuel usage and emission differences between 183A and US 183. Click here to learn more about this study. Toll Payment Options183A is a cashless toll road. 183A customers can pay their tolls with a TxTag, TollTag or EZ TAG or they can choose to Pay By Mail. Pay By Mail customers are charged a slightly higher rate than TxTag customers and incur a $1.00 processing charge per bill. Pay By Mail is available on all toll roads in Central Texas, although you may receive separate bills depending on which roads you use.
