Ray A. Wilkerson

Ray A. Wilkerson is the president and CEO of Ray Wilkerson Companies, Inc. He is currently Chairman and Presiding Officer of the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority appointed by Governor Rick Perry. He is a board member of Colorado River Foundation Tributary League Endowment and Board Member of the Colorado River Land Trust. He is a founder and board member of the HeartGift Foundation which has provided life saving heart surgery for over 235 children from 30 countries. Wilkerson is former Chairman of the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA), appointed by Governor Rick Perry. He was honored by the LCRA through the dedication of the Wilkerson Center for Colorado River Education in January 2009. He served as vice-chair of the Texas Rehabilitation Commission appointed by Governor William P. Clements and reappointed by Governor George W. Bush. He currently is a board member of the Greater Austin Crime Commission, and also on the Board of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
